Client Fair Usage Policy

Purpose 

The Fair Usage Policy ensures that all ClickBSL clients enjoy reliable, high-quality service. It sets out reasonable use of ClickBSL minutes and support, preventing misuse while protecting access for every customer. 

Scope 

This policy applies to all ClickBSL subscription packages, including minutes, devices, and technical support provided as part of the service. 

Fair Usage of Minutes 

- Each subscription includes a set number of minutes per month. 

- Minutes are intended for work-related communication and support only (e.g., meetings, workplace calls, emails, form filling, training support). 

- Non-work-related use (e.g., personal social calls) is not permitted. 

- Unused minutes cannot be carried over unless stated in the subscription package. 

- Excessive or repeated overuse of minutes may result in: 

- Notification from ClickBSL, and 

- An upgrade recommendation or additional charges if usage consistently exceeds package limits. 

- Each call is billed at a minimum of 15 minutes, even if the call is shorter. If your call is longer than 15 minutes it will be billed accordingly. Example – if your call lasts 21 minutes it will be billed as 21 minutes. 

-Additional minutes outside of the package are billed at £2.00 per minute 

Fair Usage of Devices 

- Devices provided (e.g., Meta Products, iPhone, iPad) are for use with ClickBSL services only. 

- Devices remain the property of Positive Signs Ltd and must be returned at the end of the contract or if services are terminated. 

- Loss, theft, or damage must be reported immediately; clients may be liable for replacement costs. 

Fair Usage of Technical Support 

- Technical support covers issues directly related to the ClickBSL app and provided devices. 
- Support for wider workplace IT systems is outside of this policy and may be offered separately as a billable service via our Deaf Tech team. 

Misuse of Service 

- Using ClickBSL minutes for non-work-related personal communication. 

- Attempting to bypass the system or share logins with unauthorised users. 

- Deliberately damaging or tampering with ClickBSL devices. 

- Using ClickBSL services in a way that breaches UK law, GDPR, or Positive Signs’ Code of Conduct. 

Monitoring & Enforcement 

- Usage will be monitored to ensure fairness and service quality. 
- Clients identified as breaching the Fair Usage Policy will be contacted in writing. 
- Positive Signs Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of serious or repeated misuse. 

Policy Review 

This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if service models, technology, or client needs change.
